It is often the ideas that are deemed non-applicable that shape the world of tomorrow. In that spirit, we aim to push for the creative, the beautiful and the awe inspiring, all the while finding solutions to make that which at first glance be considered nonapplicable a reality.

Tamim Negm is the co-founder of NonApplicable, an architectural studio dedicated to creating innovative and bespoke design solutions that thoughtfully respond to the evolving challenges of today's built environment.
Born into a family of journalists, Tamim's upbringing exposed him to diverse cultures through living experiences across Europe, the Middle East, and China. This global perspective nurtured his passion for integrating the craft of design with cultural, social, and natural contexts. By embedding meaningful narratives into every project, Tamim ensures that each space resonates deeply with the communities it serves.
Yuan Zhai

Yuan Zhai is the co-founder of NonApplicable, an architectural studio dedicated to creating innovative and bespoke design solutions that thoughtfully respond to the evolving challenges of today's built environment.
Skilled in forming well-reasoned and strong conceptual ideas as well as forming grounded, realistic and functional architectural ideas. With a strong passion for arts and design, Yuan is seeking to find ways to integrate design, technology and AI as part of a radical rethinking of what the discipline will offer in the future. This line of inquiry is fundamental to the approach NonApplicable has towards its projects.
