The Co-founders

After years of practice, the co-founders of NonApplicable were faced with a choice. Continue with the status quo or pursue a vision of a different kind of practice.

They chose the latter.

With a strong passion for arts and design, Yuan is seeking to find ways to integrate design, technology and AI as part of a radical rethinking of what the discipline will offer in the future. This line of inquiry is fundamental to the approach NonApplicable has towards its projects. Yuan has extensive experience with complex projects having previously worked at UNStudio and Zaha Hadid Architects.

Towards a new reality

In this incredible and incredibly fast moving age of wonders, NonApplicable is an endeavor born out of a strong desire to build differently.

We believe in a tailored approach to design. In this time technology and AI, we believe in using it to enhance the human experience and restoring a seemingly diminished human touch to our built environments.

It is often the ideas that are deemed non-applicable that shape the world of tomorrow. In that spirit, we aim to push for the creative, the beautiful and the awe inspiring, all the while finding solutions to make that which at first glance be considered nonapplicable a reality.
